Snapchat introduces new features from time to time to improve the user experience on the app.
Recently, it has come up with a new feature known as the Ring Light which enables a ‘ring flash’ on the screen whenever it is turned ON.
People are loving this cool feature and are sharing it on various social platforms. If you haven’t tried the feature yet, here is how to use it.
How to Get Ring Light Flash On Snapchat
Step 1: Launch the Snapchat app on your device.
Step 2: Switch to the front camera if it’s facing back.
Step 3: Tap the flash icon on the right.
Now, a pop-up will appear that has an option to control the flash.
To increase or decrease the ring flash area, drag the slider.
You can even change the color tone. As of now, it has three color tones – Neutral, Warm & Cool.
If you can’t find the new flash feature on your device, try updating the app. As the feature is just rolled out, updating the app will help you get the feature.
Also, the feature is currently available only on the Android app. iPhone users may need to wait until Snapchat introduced it to the iOS app.
How to Turn OFF the Ring Flash
Turning off the ring light is simple.
To turn it off, tap the flash icon, and the normal camera will appear with no flash.
