You may sometimes feel like keeping your following list on Instagram confined to yourself so that other users do not get the gist of who you follow.

Can You Hide The Following List On Instagram?
Unlike TikTok, where you can hide who you follow, Instagram doesn’t offer you this feature.
However, here are some workarounds that will help you keep your profile secret.
How to Hide Your Following List On Instagram From Some Followers
Although Instagram has no direct feature of hiding the following list, other indirect ways can be opted for.
Switch Your Account to Private
If your account is private, no one can see your following list until they follow you and you accept their request.
Here’s how to switch your account to private.
Step 1: Launch the Instagram app and head into your profile by tapping your profile icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Tap the three lines in the top-right.
Step 3: Select Settings.
Step 4: Tap Privacy.
Step 5: Tap the toggle icon next to Private account.
Note: This method will not hide the following list if someone is already following you. This works only for non-followers.
Block Them Who You Don’t Want to See Your Following List
If you block someone, they won’t be able to see your profile on Instagram which will eventually hide your following list.
Step 1: Go to the user’s profile from whom you want to hide the Following List.
Step 2: Tap the three dots in the top-right of their profile.
Step 3: Tap Block.
These are the only two ways to hide who you follow on Instagram. There’s no default feature to hide the following list as TikTok has.
