Many people record their lip-syncing and dancing videos on Instagram reels. Sometimes, you may need to speed up or slow down the audio in your reels to smoothly and effectively lip-sync them or dance to the tunes.
Fortunately, you can speed up or slow down the audio in your reels at the time of the recording. It is important to note that other users will not see the changes in the audio speed of your reels.

How Do You Speed Up Audio On Instagram Reels
Step 1: Launch the Instagram app and tap the “+” icon at the top-right of the screen, then select Reels.
Step 2: Tap the Audio icon in the left sidebar and choose the audio you want to use in your reel. You can also search for your desired audio by using the search bar. You can also decide which portion of the music you want to use in your reel.
Step 3: Once you have selected the audio for your reel, choose how long you want your reel to be. The available options on Instagram are 15, 30, and 60 seconds.
Step 4: Tap the Speed icon in the left sidebar to manage the audio speed in your reel. You can increase or decrease the audio speed in your reel by selecting any given speed option.
The available options for the audio speed are 0.3x, 0.5x, 1x, 2x, and 3x. Select any number less than 1x to speed up the audio in your reel. Now, you are ready to record a reel with the increased audio speed. You can also add additional effects before recording the reel.
Step 5: Tap the circle button at the bottom of the screen to start recording your reel with speed-up audio.
Once you have recorded the reel, you can share it with other users.
