Recently, many people have started receiving a new message that says “Help Keep Instagram A Supportive Place“.
Instagram said, “We have a responsibility to make sure everyone feels safe when they come to Instagram. We don’t allow hate speech or bullying on Instagram, and we remove it whenever we find it. We also want to protect people from having to experience this abuse in the first place, which is why we’re constantly listening to feedback from experts and our community, and developing new features to give people more control over their experience on Instagram, and help protect them from abuse”.

The new message usually appears in the comments section. Whenever you try to post something which may hurt the other user, a pop-up appears asking you to rethink before you post the hate comment.
“Keeping Instagram a Supportive Place. We’re asking people to rethink comments that seem similar to others that have been reported.”
Instagram warns everyone trying to post a potentially offensive comment. Even if such comments are posted, Instagram removes or hides them to protect the community.
Instagram has also stated that comments that go against the guidelines repeatedly may lead to the suspension of the account.
The feature was introduced to protect people from seeing abusive content be it on comments, DMs, or posts. Instagram always focuses to fight against bullying and hate on the platform.
