How to Make A Close Friends List On Instagram and Add Friends
Step 1: Launch the Instagram app and head into your profile by tapping your profile icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Tap the 3 horizontal lines in the upper right corner.
Step 3: Select the Close Friends option.
Step 4) Instagram will show you all the people you’re following. Now, you can add friends by tapping the Add button next to their profile.
Instagram won’t notify them when you add them to the list.
You will see a green following button on their profile when you add them to the close friends list.
While posting a story, you can also share it with your close friends only. To do so, you need to select Close Friends at the bottom of the screen.

Step 1: Go to your close friends list (Step 3 above).
Step 2: Uncheck the people you want to remove. Then tap Done.
