With a private account, only people who follow you can see your videos, bio, likes, and followers & following list.
If you want to lift this restriction and let everyone see your content, you need to switch your account to public. Switching from private to public is quick and easy. Here are some points you must remember beforehand.
- Users under 13 years of age can’t use TikTok.
- If you sign up for TikTok and enter your age below 16, your account will be set to private by default. This limitation is set by TikTok to safeguard young users’ privacy. However, you have the privilege to change it to public.
- If your age is 16 and above, your account will default to public.
Now, let’s see how you can make your account public.
How to Make Your TikTok Account Public
This works on both Android & iPhone.
Step 1: Launch the TikTok app on your device.
Step 2: Tap Profile in the bottom right corner of the screen.
