YouTube has updated its application recently and some of the options in the app are shuffled.
One of the options that are missing on the app is the “Trending” section which is known by the name Explore.
In the previous version of YouTube, the Explore tab is located at the left-bottom next to the Home tab. The Explore tab is now replaced by Shorts.
YouTube Shorts has now become one of the most popular video-sharing platforms which is similar to TikTok & Instagram Reels. To increase the popularity of Shorts, YouTube has placed the Shorts tab on its home screen.
Most people have thought that the Trending section has now vanished on the YouTube App. But it’s not so.
The Explore tab is relocated to somewhere. That’s what is explained in this article to locate the trending section.

As soon as you open the app and land on the home screen, look at the upper left corner below YouTube’s logo. You can find the tab known as Explore. Tap it and it will take you to the trending section.
In the previous version, Explore tab is accessible whenever you’re on any tab like Home, Subscriptions & Library.
But in the latest version of YouTube, the Explore can be accessed only in the Home section.
