Snapchat has come up with a premium subscription service “Snapchat Plus” where you can access exclusive features which are otherwise unavailable with free Snapchat.
One of the features included in Snapchat Premium is the Rewatch Indicator. This feature has put users in a sea of confusion. Most users are wondering if they can actually find out who has rewatched their Snapchat story.
In this article, I have answered the question regarding the story rewatch count.
Can You See Who Rewatches Your Snapchat Story?
We’re all curious to know if someone rewatches our story. But, is that even possible to find out on Snapchat?
Unfortunately, you can’t see who has rewatched your story. You can only see how many of your friends have reviewed your story with the help of the Story Rewatch Count feature that comes up with Snapchat+.
If you’re a Snapchat+ user, you will see the 👀 emoji under your Story if one or more friends have rewatched it.
The number next to the 👀 emoji tells how many friends have rewatched your Story, not the total number of times it’s been rewatched. For instance, if three of your friends rewatched your story, one watched 6 times and the other watched 2 times, then it will be shown 3 next to the eyes emoji.
The Rewatch Indicator does not show which friends rewatched your story.
Note: You will not see the 👀 emoji if you haven’t turned on Story Rewatch Count.
How to Turn ON Story Rewatch Count
Step 1: Launch Snapchat and go to your profile by tapping your bitmoji icon in the top-left of the screen.
Step 2: Tap the Snapchat+ membership card.
Step 3: Turn ON Story Rewatch Count by pressing the toggle icon.
If Someone Rewatches Your Story, Does Their Name Go to the Top?
When someone rewatches your story, their name doesn’t go back again to the top. The view list is ordered chronologically. The one who has seen most recently will appear at the top.
