We sometimes come across interesting videos on TikTok but forget to mark them in any way. It often results in losing the video.
It used to seem impossible for users to find the watched video again on TikTok. Fortunately, TikTok has introduced the Watch History feature to solve the problem. The feature allows you to view all the videos you have seen in the last seven days.
Let’s see how you can see all the videos you have watched.
How to View Watch History on TikTok
As the feature is recently introduced, you need to update the TikTok app to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Step 1: Once the TikTok app is updated, launch it.
Step 2: Head into your profile by tapping the Profile icon in the bottom right corner of the app screen.
Step 3: Tap the three-lined menu icon in the top-right of the screen.
Step 4: Select the Settings and privacy option.
Step 5: Navigate to the CONTENT & ACTIVITY section and tap Watch history.
Now, the screen will show you a list of all the clips you have watched on TikTok in the last seven days.
Although you can view your watch history, you can’t see watched videos older than 7 days.
Watch History Missing?
As the watch history feature is newly introduced, it might not have been rolled out globally to all the users.
If you don’t find it on your device, you need to wait until it is rolled out worldwide.
To view a TikTok video later, you can like it which will be saved to the liked collection on your profile. Or, you can even add the video to favorites.
