If you have turned on timeline review, a post will not appear automatically on your profile when someone tags you. You need to manually approve the posts you’re tagged in before they appear on your profile.
Similarly, if you have enabled tag review on your posts, the tag won’t appear on Facebook until you approve it.

How to Review & Approve Posts And Tags
Step 1: Launch Facebook and tap the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner.
Step 2: Tap your name.
Step 3: Tap the three dots next to Edit Profile.
Step 4: On the Profile Settings page, select Review Posts and Tags.
Here, you can review posts you’re tagged in and tags on your posts.
To approve posts you’re tagged in, tap Add to profile on an individual post, or else tap Hide to ignore it.
Similarly, you can approve or ignore the tags on your posts.
How to turn on timeline review to approve posts you are tagged in before they appear on your profile?
1) To turn on timeline review, tap Settings that appear to the right of Review Posts You’re Tagged In (as shown in the screenshot above).
2) Then press the toggle icon to make it blue.
You can also adjust the notification settings so that you’re notified when someone tags you.
How to turn on tag review on your posts?
1) Tap Settings next to Review Tags on Yous Posts (as shown in the screenshot above).
2) Tap the toggle icon.
Now, if someone tags something on your post, the tag won’t appear on Facebook until you approve it manually.

Step 1: Click the dropdown icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Select Settings & privacy, then Activity log.
Step 3: On the left panel, click Timeline, photo and tag review at the bottom.
Select the respective options to approve posts and tags.
