TikTok has emerged as one of the most popular platforms for creating and sharing short-length entertainment videos. But, the platform is gradually increasing the length of the videos the creators can make.
TikTok has recently announced the ability to record 10-minute videos.
TikTok Said: “Today, we’re excited to start rolling out the ability to upload videos that are up to 10 minutes, which we hope would unleash even more creative possibilities for our creators around the world.”
However, there is still a possibility that you may not be able to enjoy this feature at present as it has not been rolled out to all regions yet.
If it’s available on your device, here’s how to create or upload 10-minute videos on TikTok.
How to Record 10 Minute Videos On TikTok
The best you can do to increase the odds of accessing TikTok’s 10-minute video recording feature is to update your app from Google Play Store or App Store.
Step 1: Launch the TikTok app on your device and tap the + (plus) icon in the bottom middle of the app’s screen. Now, you will see the recording screen with the time selector options as 15s, 60s, 3m, and 10m appearing above the camera button.
Step 2: Select 10m and record the video as you usually do.
Note that if the 10m time selector does not display on the screen, it means that the feature is not yet available to you.
When the feature becomes available, you will be notified by TikTok. Here’s how to check if you have received any updates regarding the same.
Step 1: Tap Inbox in the bottom-right.
Step 2: Tap All activity at the top, then select From TikTok.
Step 3: Look for Account updates if it’s there. When you tap it, it says “Upload longer videos: Upload videos up to 10 minutes long from your device. Make sure you’re using the latest version of TikTok before trying out the feature on your app or tiktok.com.”
