In this article, I will be sharing with you how to add shortcuts in Chrome Homepage which will help you to access your favorite sites instantly with just a single click.

How to Add Shortcuts in Chrome Desktop Version
There are two ways to do it. I will be explaining both of them.
Method 1
Step 1: Open Google Chrome (Make sure you are having the latest version).
Step 2: On the homepage, you will see an icon named “Add Shortcut”, Click on it.
Step 3: Next it will ask you to add Name and URL. So, add the Website Name and the URL of it.
For example, if you want to add YouTube as a shortcut, then add the name as “YouTube” & URL as “https://youtube.com/”. You can copy the link by visiting the site.
Step 4: Click on Done.
By doing so, your YouTube shortcut will be added and will be shown in the Google Chrome Homepage with the name you have entered before.
Whenever you want to visit YouTube, just click on the created shortcut icon that is “YouTube”.
Method 2
Step 1: Open Google Chrome.
Step 2: Open the website for which you want to create a shortcut.
Step 3: Click on three dots in the upper right corner.
Step 4: Next, click on More Tools.
Step 5: Click on Create Shortcut.
Step 6: Enter the name to be shown in the shortcut icon.
Step 7: Click on Create.
This way your shortcut will be created in the desktop home screen.
How to Add Shortcuts in Chrome Mobile Version
Step 1: Open Google Chrome.
Step 2: Open the website that you want to create a shortcut.
Step 3: Click on three dots in the upper right section.
Step 4: Click on Add to Home Screen.
Step 5: Enter the name you want to show on the shortcut icon.
Step 6: Click on Add
Hurray! Your shortcut will appear in your Phone’s Home Screen.
**If you want the shortcut to appear on your Chrome Browser itself, frequently visit the website and it will show in your Home Page.
How to Remove Shortcuts from Google Homepage (Desktop)
Now sometimes you also want to remove all the shortcuts that you have created. So, in this case, just follow the steps below.
Step 1: Open Google Chrome in your Desktop
Step 2: Hover your mouse on the shortcut that you want to remove.
Step 3: A three-dot symbol will appear just after you hover the mouse pointer on it. So, click on three dots.
Step 4: A pop-up will appear as Edit Shortcut. To remove the shortcut, click on Remove.
Your short will be disappeared from the Google Chrome Homepage.
**If you want to remove the shortcut that is on your Desktop Home Screen, then just right click on the shortcut and click on Delete.
How to Remove Google Chrome Shortcut in Mobile
If you want to remove shortcuts present in Google Chrome Homepage, then just long-press on the shortcut and click on remove.
Now, your shortcut maybe sometimes on Mobile Home Screen. So, to delete it, long press on it and click on delete or remove.
This will delete the shortcut you have created.
