Missed Call Alert is a service offered by Airtel which notifies you of missed calls when your phone is out of network coverage or is switched off.
How to Activate Airtel Missed Call Alert
Missed Call Alert Service is free for all Airtel customers. You don’t need to pay for this feature. However, it is not pre-activated on your mobile number.
There are three ways to activate it. You can try any one of them and see which works for you.
1. Through a Call
Dial 59500 from your Airtel Mobile Number and follow the instructions provided to activate Airtel missed call alert.
2. Through USSD Code
Dial *321*881# from your mobile number. Next, it will ask to reply with 1 to activate the service. Reply with 1 and wait for few seconds. It will again ask you to reply with 1 to confirm the activation.
3. Through SMS
SMS START to 121 and you will receive a message which shows all the features that can be activated. Reply with the option number of the service to be activated. In our case, it is Missed Call Alert. So reply with the option number of Missed Call Alert (for example 2)
After the reply, you will be asked to reply with 1 to confirm the activation. So reply with 1 and Missed Call Alert will be activated successfully.
These are the three ways through which you can activate the Airtel Missed Call Alert. If one method does not work try out another.
How to Deactivate Airtel Missed Call Alert
For deactivation, SMS “STOP” to 155223. You will receive a message showing all the active subscriptions. Reply with the option number of MCA Subscription. That’s it, your missed call alert subscription will be deactivated within 30 minutes.
