How to Change Close Friends List On Instagram
Before editing, you first need to access your ‘Close Friends List’.
Here’s how you can find it.
Step 1: Launch the Instagram app on your Android device or iPhone.
Step 2: Go to your profile by tapping your profile icon in the bottom-right corner.
Step 3: Tap the three lines in the top-right.
Step 4: Select Close Friends.
Alternatively, tap Settings -> Account -> Close Friends
Here you’ll see all the users who are on your close friends list.
Remove People From Close Friends List
To remove someone, uncheck them by tapping the blue bubble icon that has a checkmark on it. Once you’re done removing the people, press Done at the bottom.
Add People to Close Friends List
To add new people, search for the username you’d like to add to your close friends list, then tap the circle icon next to their profile. Once you’ve added people of your choice, tap Done.
Edit Close Friends List On the Story Share Screen
You can also edit your Close Friends List while you’re on the Story Share Screen. To do so, tap and hold Close Friends in the bottom left of the story. This will open your Close Friends List. Now, edit the list as per your choice in the same way as mentioned above.
Can You Edit Close Friends List On Instagram Web Using Your PC?
The Close Friends List feature is available only on the Instagram app. You can’t view the list on the Instagram web.
