Changing your notification sound sets you apart from the rest, where almost all users have the same sound when they receive any notifications on Facebook. While you’re in public, it won’t create any confusion if your phone beeps a notification.
In this article, I’ll be showing you how you can change your notification sound on Facebook.
How to Customize Facebook Notification Sound On Android
Step 1: Launch the Facebook app on your Android device.
Step 2: Tap the three lines in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Tap Settings & privacy, then select Settings.
Step 4: Under the Preferences section, tap Notifications.
Step 5: Scroll down to Where you receive notifications, then tap Push.
Step 6: Tap Tone.
Step 7: Now, select the sound of your choice, then tap OK. You can preview the sound by tapping the specific sound.
That’s all.
Whenever you receive a notification on your Facebook app, it will make a new sound.
If you want to turn off the notification sound completely, tap the toggle icon next to Sounds (after step 5 above).
Can You Change Facebook Notification Sound On iPhone?
Unlike Android, the iOS app doesn’t have an option to change the notification sound.
