The first way is to tap the + icon in the top right of the screen, the second way is swiping right on your home feed screen and the third way is long-tapping the Your Story icon that appears at the top-left of the screen.

Step 2: You can now either take a picture, record a video or select a media from your phone’s gallery.

Step 3: Tap the smiley icon that appears on the top. It will reveal a collection of various stickers.

Step 4: Select the Temperature sticker.

The sticker will show your local temperature in Fahrenheit. You can resize the sticker and relocate it wherever you want on your story.

Convert Fahrenheit to Celsius on Instagram Story

The temperature sticker always shows the temperature in the Fahrenheit unit when you first add it. This is the default setting by Instagram.

However, you can easily convert the unit from Fahrenheit to Celsius. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you convert the temperature unit.

Step 1: Tap the Temperature sticker that you have added to your story. When you do this, the sticker will show you the precipitation conditions of your area. Precipitation condition tells whether it is sunny, rainy, snowy, etc.

Step 2: Tap the sticker again. The temperature sticker will now show the temperature of your area in Celsius instead of Fahrenheit.

To sum up, you just need to double-tap the sticker to show the temperature in Celsius.

Temperature Sticker Missing on Instagram Story?

Instagram needs to access your location to find out the temperature of your area. So, you need to turn on your device’s GPS to add the temperature sticker to your Instagram stories.

In addition to turning your device’s location on, you may also need to give permission to access your location to the Instagram app.
